Houston Metro partnered with us to visualize the impact of five new bus stops planned across the City of Houston. The goal was to create an immersive, realistic digital experience that would demonstrate how these new stations would enhance surrounding neighborhoods — helping stakeholders and the community clearly understand the transformation before construction began.
/ THE APPROACH
Real-World Data Integration: We leveraged detailed map and GIS data to accurately recreate the surrounding urban environments, ensuring each neighborhood reflected real streetscapes, layouts, and spatial context.
Architectural Accuracy & Asset Development: Using CAD files of the new bus stop designs, we built high-fidelity 3D models and seamlessly integrated them into the digital environments to reflect the planned infrastructure with precision.
Real-Time Visualization in Unreal Engine: The entire experience was developed within Unreal Engine, where we rigged animated people and buses to bring each location to life — creating bustling, realistic scenes that illustrated the everyday impact of the upgrades. A real-time rendering pipeline allowed for cinematic-quality visuals with interactive flexibility.
/ THE RESULTS
Immersive Digital Twin Environments: Accurate, high-fidelity recreations of five Houston neighborhoods, enhanced with the new bus stop infrastructure.
Lived-In, Dynamic Urban Scenes: Animated crowds and transit activity that showcased how the stations would function in real-world conditions.
Real-Time, Future-Ready Visualization Tool: A powerful Unreal Engine experience that enabled Houston Metro to present, explore, and communicate urban improvements with clarity and impact.
